A large impressive double fronted corbett home in Eltham, London. A refurbishment of an existing family home to accommodate a growing family. The existing rear conservatory was no longer fit for purpose and the internal layout felt awkward which the family complained it no longer suited modern day living.
The proposed works includes replacing the conservatory with a large open plan and contemporary extension, with internal configurations to improve the family living and also a loft conversion to improve the current loft layout.
The proposed extension includes large glazed folding doors onto the garden and large glass roof lights to let as much light as possible into the rear of the house.
The clients main objective was to feel more apart of their garden and they wanted something that blended seamlessly therefore the extension has an impressive green flat roof. Due to the build up of the roof this will heavily insulate the property and improve the energy efficiency.
